The eight, not-for-profit and independent organisations that make up The Design Network in England, have launched their first combined prospectus for the service.

It argues that people who live in disadvantaged, poor and deprived neighbourhoods should be able to develop their own solutions to poverty and injustice. It recommends actions for central, local government, housing providers and local communities.

Glasgow wins £24 million of “smart city” Government funding

A grant of £24 million grant has been offered to Glasgow by the Technology Strategy Board (TSB), a body which was set up by the government in 2007 to stimulate technology-enabled innovation.
